2A Partners Ltd is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 14185591, registered office 167–169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF.
For any question about this policy or about how we handle personal data, contact at info@aapartners.co.uk.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number 14185591.
Clients and prospective clients. Name, job title, employer, contact details, and the information contained in the instructions and documents you send us. Where we are required to carry out identity checks, this includes identification documents, proof of address and source of funds information.
Website visitors. The details you submit through our enquiry form or by email, and technical data collected by our website and its analytics tools — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited. See our Cookie Notice.
Suppliers and professional contacts. Name, role, contact details and correspondence.
Job applicants. CV, application correspondence, right to work documentation and references.
We share personal data with regulated professionals we instruct on your behalf — immigration advisers, tax advisers, accountants, conveyancers and local counsel — and with our IT, hosting and professional service providers, our insurers, and any regulator or authority where we are required to disclose.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Our work regularly involves the United Kingdom, Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates, so personal data may be transferred outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on UK adequacy regulations where they apply, or on the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses, together with any additional safeguards a transfer requires.
Client files are retained for five years after a matter closes, which reflects the limitation periods that apply to our work and our insurance requirements. Identity and anti-money-laundering records are kept for five years after the end of the relationship. Enquiries that do not become instructions are deleted after ten months. Recruitment records are kept for six months after a decision unless you agree otherwise.
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, and in certain circumstances to have data erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@aapartners.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF, or at ico.org.uk. We would ask you to raise it with us first.
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
