Hazal Avci
Hazal is a corporate and M&A lawyer qualified in England & Wales and Türkiye, advising on complex cross-border corporate transactions. Her practice covers mergers, private equity and venture capital investments, leveraged buyouts, and asset, business and equity transfers. She trained and worked at an international law firm, advising multinational clients across a range of sectors including F&B, energy, technology, real estate, industrials and banking. Hazal has also served as in-house legal counsel to one of Türkiye's largest conglomerates, where she advised on multiple high-profile M&A transactions and joint ventures across Europe, the Middle East and the UK. Her experience includes leading and coordinating due diligence processes, negotiating, drafting and reviewing transaction documentation as well as a wide range of commercial and financial agreements.
Vahap Atalay
Vahap is a lawyer qualified in England & Wales and Türkiye. He previously practised at a leading international law firm and at companies with significant international exposure. He has previously worked on investment arbitration matters and was part of global arbitration teams. Alongside his dispute resolution practice, Vahap has been involved in project development and finance within the energy sector. He regularly advises energy companies on project investments, acquisitions and disposals. His sector expertise includes renewable energy, battery storage and EPC projects. Vahap is one of the founders of AA Partners.
Ozgur Milletsever
Ozgur obtained his master's degree from Queen Mary University of London in 2019 and began his doctoral studies in 2020. His PhD at the University of Nottingham examines how data protection can be strengthened in artificial intelligence systems. Alongside his academic career, he is a practising lawyer with expertise in contract law, energy law and technology law. An internationally recognised scholar, he has taught courses on Contract Law, Introduction to Law, Legal Theory and Law & Technology. His academic and legal expertise contributes significantly to the work of AA Partners.
